Welcome to The Therapy Centre

We provide swift and easy access to Counselling and Psychotherapy  for all individuals and couples seeking to improve their emotional and mental wellbeing. Our Therapists work with a broad range of issues such as anxiety, depression, loss and grief, fertility issues, LGBT issues, domestic abuse, sexual abuse and many more difficulties which affect mental health.

At The Therapy Centre we are firm believers that Therapy is transformative even if you don’t struggle with any particular mental health issue. Therapy can help you work through acute life stressors,  cope with difficult life changes and offer solutions for a calmer, balanced and more fulfilling life. We are dedicated to providing all our clients with the highest standard of Therapy and all of our Therapists are members or associate members of IACP or IAHIP.

Welcoming inclusive space

Our warm, contemporary rooms offer a safe and confidential space for you to discuss your issues. Both of our centres are easily accessed by all forms of public transport.

02

Swift and convenient access to counselling and psychotherapy

If you are interested in starting therapy, our Clinical Director will get in touch with you to talk about what issues you are experiencing and what you want to work on in therapy. This way you can be paired with a therapist who will best suit your needs in terms of clinical experience and approach. You will have access to your first appointment within a week.

For your convenience, we offer appointments from early morning to late evening and also at weekends.

Extensive clinical experience

All of our Counsellors and Psychotherapists have extensive clinical experience in a wide variety of therapeutic approaches such as humanistic, integrative, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy, polyvagal theory, choice theory, body psychotherapy and solution-focused therapies. They also engage in continuous professional development each year in order to keep up with the most recent advancements and contemporary approaches in the field. What people say about us

Leave a review

I first went to see Laura suffering with post-natal depression. For the first time in my life I had a space where I could finally let myself go. I cried and cried during each session. I was able to say whatever I felt, and knew I would never be judged.  Just talking it all out with Laura gave me incredible freedom. I learned so much about myself, and the anxiety I suffered long before ever getting pregnant is long gone. I am much more confident in myself now and am enjoying motherhood!

Julie Murphy

Laura is a kind and considerate person and a compassionate therapist. She is warm, caring and professional in her approach to supporting people on their journey. I have no hesitation in recommending Laura to anyone.

Liam Francis

Laura is a warm, empathic and highly skilled therapist, who has a depth of knowledge in her field. She brings a feeling of hope and energy into the therapy room, inspiring resilience and confidence in those she meets.
