Stephanie Duffy

I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from DBS College and I work in line with the IACP’s code of ethics and professional standards. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, professional accountability, and ongoing professional development.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic; I draw on a range of therapeutic techniques and frameworks to meet the unique needs of each person I work with. I incorporate various methods to explore how past experiences can shape present thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and support clients to develop insight and make meaningful change.

I have worked with adults facing a variety of challenges, including grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, shame and issues relating to sexuality. I have a particular interest in questioning around identity, spirituality, and personal meaning and purpose. My approach is grounded in compassion, inclusivity and respect and with a commitment to creating a safe space where clients can explore, heal, and grow.

Evan Murphy

Evan is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland (MTAI). Evan holds a BA in Psychology, MSc in Neuroscience, MSc in Applied Psychology and a professional MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Evan also has completed a foundation diploma in

counselling and holds a Diploma in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) / Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MBCT) teaching training.

Recently Evan completed his professional training in CBT and would be qualified to deliver CBT therapy and is currently working towards full accreditation as CBT therapist. Evan has worked extensively in the area of mental health both in the U.K and Ireland for the past 12 years working in educational, homeless, voluntary and medical settings. Evan provides CBT therapy for anxiety disorders such as Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, OCD, Social Anxiety, General Anxiety, Procrastination and Perfectionism. He also works in treating those with depression with CBT skills and techniques. He works with both adults and young adults. Evan also provides Social Prescribing (SP) services and facilitates MBSR / MBCT group classes.

Evan would regularly attend mindfulness retreats and courses himself and would practice the attitudes of nonjudging, gratitude, patience, a beginner’s mind, trust, non striving, acceptance, letting go, gratitude and generosity. He actively brings these attitudes into his workspace to allow for a safe and compassionate space where therapy can prosper.

Sara Mastini

Sara is a pre-accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and has a Bsc Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College. She is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. Her work is grounded in the belief that, with the right conditions and a compassionate presence, people have the inner capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.

Her approach is integrative, rooted in person-centred principles, and guided by empathy, authenticity, and respect. Alongside this foundation, she draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to explore thoughts and behaviours, attachment-focused therapy and IFS to understand relational patterns, and somatic-based elements to help clients reconnect with the body through breath and bodily awareness.

Sara has experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and a wide range of emotional and life difficulties. She understands that these struggles often reflect deeper experiences and stories, and she aims to create a space where clients can explore these with safety and curiosity.

Catherine Murphy

I’m a Humanistic and Integrative Therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with understanding, acceptance, and connection. My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to meet each person’s unique needs.

I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and patterns at your own pace. Together, we can work toward greater self-awareness, healing, and growth, with an aim to reconnect you with your own strengths.

I have a particular interest in supporting women with ADHD, especially those who may have been overlooked or diagnosed later in life. Lily Burgony

Lily is a psychotherapist and psychologist who works with adults. She has a down-to-earth, curious, and collaborative approach rooted in humanistic principles, adapting to what each person needs rather than sticking to one formula. She often works with people who feel different, who struggle in their relationships, or who have a feeling that something isn’t right but can’t make sense of it. She also has experience supporting clients around perinatal challenges, loss, and ADHD.

Hello, my name is Elaine Kelly, and I am an integrative psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in counselling and psychotherapy. Rebecca O’Kelly

I’m an integrative psychotherapist with a BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Master’s in Psychotherapy from DBS. My own journey with therapy began during a challenging period in my life, and it was transformative. It helped me to reconnect with myself, build resilience, and ultimately inspired me to train as a therapist.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can bring your full self. My approach is relational and collaborative, grounded in honesty, care, and mutual respect, with a deep belief in your capacity for growth and change at your own pace.

Susan Kennedy

Susan Kennedy is an integrative psychotherapist whose approach centres on supporting people to feel truly seen and understood. She creates a safe and reflective space where clients can begin to open up new ways of being and living. Susan welcomes working with a wide range of presenting issues and is open to whatever a client may bring. She is also especially interested in the impact of infertility, sexuality, and identity, and how these themes can shape a person’s inner world and relationships.

Her integrative approach is client-led and responsive. Depending on the needs of the individual, Susan may draw on psychodynamic and object relations theory, explore attachment patterns, or bring a trauma-informed and body-oriented perspective. She places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work, while staying flexible and attuned to what each client brings. For Susan, therapy is a living process, one that invites curiosity, reflection, and growth.

Susan holds a BSc in Psychology from NUI Maynooth, an MSc in Foundations in Clinical Psychology and Health Services from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and an MA in Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. She is a pre-accredited member of IAHIP and a graduate member of PSI.

Fiona Barclay

I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist. At the core of my work is curiosity and openness, creating a non-judgmental listening space. I believe therapy works best when it is rooted in a strong relationship. My focus is to truly get to know you. And my role in your healing is to offer an empathetic environment for you to explore your feelings and challenges.

Ciarán Everitt

Ciarán strives to offer a safe, non-judgmental, empathic environment in which clients can reflect and explore their life experiences to gain an understanding of themselves and their relationships with others. He works from a humanistic and integrative approach that draws on complementary perspectives that best suit the needs of the client. He is particularly interested in attachment issues and existential issues of finding meaning and purpose in one’s life.

“My baseline is the humanistic ideals of providing the conditions of empathy, non-judgment, and being authentic to allow clients to explore and discover their inner world and their relationships with others. I work from the standpoint that we are not our problems or disorders but rather suffering human beings trying to find meaning in our lives.”

Ciarán is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and received his qualifications from PCI College. He has a background in psychology, and he is also a qualified and fully accredited logotherapist and existential analyst from the Viktor Frankl Institute in Dublin and the International Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in Vienna.

He offers individual counselling and psychotherapy with clients wishing to explore a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, anger issues, self-esteem, meaning in life, bereavement, personal development, childhood trauma,and suicide intervention. Simon is a fully accredited member of the IACP. He holds a Diploma and First Class Honours BSc Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College/Middlesex University. He also has a Practitioner Certificate in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes from the Metanoia Institute in London.

“My aim is to offer you an accepting, non-judgemental environment where you can be yourself; one where you are really listened to, where you can grow, and where you can find your own answers in your own time. I am a therapist, lecturer and group facilitator and I work from an integrative-humanistic foundation. This means that while I may draw on ideas and techniques from various modes of therapy as best suits the needs of the client, the backbone of my work is firmly based on the ideals of humanistic approaches and their belief that everyone has an in-built capacity to reach their potential. I don’t believe that pride in oneself should be reserved for a lucky few.

Ailish is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. She aims to facilitate a warm, supportive and nurturing environment in which clients are welcome to freely and confidentially talk through things that are on their mind, however big or small those things might seem to the outside world. She seeks to provide a safe and empathic place in which clients feel seen, heard, validated and valued as they get to grips with the ups and downs of their own lives and undertake the work of setting realistic and meaningful goals for themselves in attaining more personally satisfying ways of living.

Ailish’s background is in psychology, music, and the creative arts, and she holds a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy from PCI College. Her approach to counselling is integrative, which means that she draws on theory and techniques from various perspectives, including humanistic-existential, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural. She has a special research interest in looking at the role that bigger-picture systems play in all of our lives, and especially in exploring the impact that systems of privilege and oppression can have on our emotional and psychological wellbeing, including, for example, those relating to race, gender and sexual orientation. Ailish draws on various therapy approaches in a way that is tailored and unique to the needs of each individual person that she works with:

Susan Halpin

Susan holds a Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma in Child Psychology and Development from DBS. She has had many different careers throughout her life. She started out studying business and marketing which led her to experience, the corporate environment which gave her an insight and understanding of how the human condition behaves under stress and pressure in the financial sector. After achieving professional success within this sector, she decided to reinvent herself within a Non for Profit. She spent almost 10 years fighting for children’s’ rights and advocating on behalf of the vulnerable. Susan, then decided to work directly within the Mental Health Industry and works within a therapeutic centre co-ordinating over 50 therapists. Throughout her various careers and her own personal therapy, her passion and love for working with clients in therapy has never ceased. Susan truly believes that within the space, a healthy whole person can blossom.

Susan’s approach is sourced primarily in person-centred psychotherapy and psychodynamic, while also drawing on psychosynthesis, cognitive, behavioural and systemic models. She works with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, stress, loss, trauma, body image issues, isolation, bullying, and other range of issues.

Laure strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental and affirmative therapeutic space in which each individual can explore and reflect on their life experiences, and achieve greater understanding and acceptance of self and others. She operates out of a humanistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy, based predominantly on the unique ability of each individual to make positive transformations and achieve optimum levels of well-being.

Laure’s approach is grounded in Person-Centred and Psychodynamic psychotherapies, but she also uses Sensori-motor, Cognitive, Behavioural and Internal Family Systems models. She holds a holistic view of healing and works at a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. She believes in building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship in which one can discover or build on their inner resources.

Laure is an IACP-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, having completed a four-year postgraduate counselling and psychotherapy studies in Turning Point Training Institute, affiliated with Dublin City University (DCU). Laure previously graduated with a BA (Honours) in Social Care from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and has worked with a number of government and voluntary agencies, including the Social Work Team for Separated Children Seeking Asylum and Spirasi.

Laura Bayoumi

Laura is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works with a broad range of issues such as anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, childhood trauma, phobias, LGBT concerns, loss and grief, personal development, stress management, anger management, relationship issues and self-esteem.

Laura works from a humanistic and integrative approach, which means that she draws on various humanistic, psychodynamic and solution-focused theories in order to provide you with support and explore whatever difficulties you may be facing.

Priscilla Yerxa

My name is Priscilla Yerxa, I am a Psychotherapist and Counsellor with experience in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Mindfulness approach. I have experience in treating anxiety and emotional dysregulation.

I work with CBT as it is one of the most rapid therapies when it comes to getting quick results. The CBT tools have been helping the clients to improve their mental and emotional difficulties, bringing more clarity and increasing their self-esteem after a few sessions.

The combination of DBT, Mindfulness and talk therapy (psychotherapy) helps individuals to accept the reality of their lives and their behaviours, as well as helping them learning to change their lives, including their unhelpful behaviours and emotional dysregulation, such as Borderline personality disorder, self-harm, PTSD, depression and Anxiety.

Conor is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, with membership in the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, working under their ethics and guidelines. Conor has an honours degree and master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy, and works with a wide range of clients from different backgrounds with differing issues.

Conor believes psychotherapy is a powerful journey of self-discovery. He approaches therapy non-judgmentally and with compassion in order to produce a strong therapeutic relationship that promotes empowerment and change. While retaining a keen interest in how our childhood experiences can impact our adult lives, Conor takes a humanistic and integrative approach. Pluralistic psychotherapy is a collaborative and integrative approach, rooted in humanistic and person-centred values. Its core premise is that each client is unique, and therefore may need different things from therapy. Collaborative decision making is a key element of the pluralistic approach: talking to clients about what they want from therapy, and how they might most effectively be helped to get there.

In his spare time, Conor enjoys walks in the park, going to the gym, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Couples/relationship counselling

I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, intimacy issues, life transitions, parenting stress, and feelings of distance or disconnection. I offer couples psychotherapy in a calm, thoughtful, and supportive setting where both partners can feel heard without judgement. I foster a warm, relational, and emotionally attuned environment , helping couples move beyond cycles of conflict, withdrawal, or misunderstanding toward greater clarity, connection, and emotional safety.

My approach to couples therapy draws from the Gottman model, designed to strengthen a relationship’s emotional and physical foundation. The core components of the Gottman’s approach embrace trust, share fondness and admiration, build love maps, turn toward instead of away, manage conflict, create shared meaning, commitment, dreams share and make life dreams come true.

Alongside couples therapy, I also bring an understanding of how individual experiences, attachment patterns, stress, and past relationships can influence the dynamics between partners. My aim is to help couples develop healthier ways of communicating, resolving conflict, and reconnecting with one another.

Michelle’s core approach is in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy; wherein the therapy is client-led and the client is held in a safe therapeutic relationship.

Dermot is an accredited psychotherapist (MIAHIP, ICP), and holds a First-Class Honours Masters in Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. Dermot’s approach is integrative and humanistic, meaning that he combines learning from different schools of psychotherapy to best meet the needs of each person.

Dermot’s career began in software development, and he moved from there into the not-for-profit sector, where he supported people in developing leadership skills through volunteering. It was from here that Dermot became interested in counselling and psychotherapy, as he saw people’s ability to grow during periods of intense challenge, provided they had the right kind of support.

I am a Chartered Psychologist, holding a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

I provide a person-centred and non-judgmental environment in which you are encouraged to explore what outcomes you would like from therapy, and together we identify therapeutic frameworks which will support you (practically and emotionally) to achieve these outcomes.

I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety disorders; depressive disorders; trauma; gambling, substance use and other compulsive behaviours; relationships; bereavement; personal growth (for example, building resilience, confidence and self esteem, and developing a more supportive and helpful relationship with oneself). Therapeutic frameworks combine a cognitive, solution focused approach (including CBT), with utilising the body’s physiology to provide relief from symptoms. Any treatment approach will be discussed and agreed with you first.

My current training and focus has been working with the impact of emotional neglect occurring in childhood, and the processing of trauma and management of PTSD symptoms.

My philosophy is based on a strong belief in clients’ potential for healing. I aim to help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a client can function better and increase their well-being.

I use CBT to help clients gain different perspective. I believe CBT works well when used to manage mental health conditions and emotional concerns in short time over a limited number of sessions. The effectiveness of CBT in treating depression lies primarily in the ability to address thoughts that negatively impact the patient’s understanding of their world and situations. When these thoughts can be identified and corrected, it makes it easier for the behavioral aspect of the treatment to be effective. As more people seek effective treatment for their mental disorders, I am open to apply CBT as a primary mental health treatment mechanism in my sessions.

I also use mindfulness-based techniques with clients to build up awareness of the present moment. I find mindfulness effective with clients who experience depression or anxiety. It can be especially helpful with clients who have been trapped in reliving past problems or pre-living future worries. It’s easy to stop noticing the world around us and lose touch with the way our bodies are feeling. I believe that introducing mindfulness to clients helps them notice how thoughts are driving our emotions and behaviour which could help them deal with issues more productively.

Aoife Maguire MIACP

Aoife is a fully accredited member of the IACP, and holds a First Class Honours BA Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from DBS. She aims to provide a warm, non-judgemental, and supportive space for her clients. She takes a humanistic, integrative, and person-centred approach, while also keeping in mind the impact of childhood experiences on the adult’s life, tailoring the work to each individual client.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, Aoife’s background was in the Creative Arts and Education, and she has worked as a Drama Facilitator, Screenwriter, and English language teacher. She believes the focus on self-expression, communication, and relationship which are at the core of these jobs, are also at the core of her work as a therapist. She holds a BA (Hons) in Drama and French from TCD, an MSc in Multimedia from DCU, and a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from DBS. She has also undergone training with AUsome Training and has completed their DAWN – Practitioner Course for Helping Professionals working with Autistic Adults, and ADHD Course.

Aoife works with a broad range of issues including anxiety disorders, depression, general counselling, personal development, relationships, and trauma (past or recent). She also has a particular interest in working with Autistic and other neurodivergent clients, and their families.

Gillian is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and is pre-accredited with the IACP.
She works with an integrative approach to her therapy, drawing on her knowledge and experience of
different modalities, in order to tailor her practice to each individual person and their needs.
Part of this involves a person-centred approach, which values the individual and believes that they
truly have the potential within them to achieve and live a full, satisfying life. Her work as a therapist
does not tell the client what to do, but instead supports and facilitates the client in exploring and
discovering their own true meaning and potential.
Gillian will support and guide you through this process, in a way that is realistic, non-judgemental,

I base my therapy on Humanistic principles meaning I strongly believe in the individual’s capacity to grow and prosper when the right conditions are in place (In this case, the therapeutic environment). I also come from a mindset that encourages the client’s capacity towards self-direction. This I strongly feel to be key to successful therapy.

To work effectively in this way I use a Person-Centred Approach which creates a strong therapeutic relationship and through applying certain skills individuals will learn to get in touch with their real selves, develop more understanding of their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, motives, and purposes with the intention to become in essence their own therapist. Within this framework, I also incorporate CBT where necessary and depending on my evaluation of the client’s needs.

In my work until this point, the most noteworthy benefit that clients leave with is a greater sense of personal awareness. The depth of exploration and willingness to do the work on the client’s behalf often yields well-earned benefits as clients may encounter better decision-making, a greater sense of life direction, healthier lifestyles, more satisfying relationships, and increased self-esteem. The journey within can often be very frightening but encountered within a safe space and with a little courage, it can be of true value.

Lisa McDonnell

Lisa holds a First Class Honours BSc. Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College/Middlesex University and comes from a Psychology background. She has always been driven to understand human behaviour and this has led her to develop a passion for talk therapy.

Suzanne Purcell

I work within a humanistic, Integrative approach, including approaches such as CBT and Existential Psychotherapy. I believe in the client guiding where each session goes and gaining autonomy and confidence in what they need and want to focus on in therapy, as time goes on. As the Therapist, I work in a collaborative way alongside the client and help them to explore, what in their lives and relationships might be troubling them, including the relationship we have with ourselves. I believe that each person can tap into an inner self that guides and protects them and that each person has the resilience within them to face all that life can throw at us. I believe that a strong trusting relationship with a therapist, in a safe space that allows for both darkness and light, facilitates clients to explore themselves deeply and remove or become aware of things that are blocking them. Justin Cullen

Hi. My name is Justin and I am a fully accredited Psychotherapist (MIACP). I hold an Honours Degree in Integrative counselling and Psychotherapy and completed training with IICP College in Tallaght. Having an integrative approach means, I can connect different modalities of therapy to suit the clients’ needs and the style with which the work is carried out. An important part of my approach is creating a space in which the client takes a leading role, identifying where they want to be and what they want to explore, thereby building a therapeutic alliance and mutual trust. My work as a therapist marked a significant shift in my career, having spent many years working as an analytical chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. The methodical aspect of this work has benefitted my practice as a therapist, as I always pay close attention to detail and take note of what can often be considered unremarkable. My journey into therapy so far has been aided by my curiosity about myself, others and my own personal experience in the client’s chair. Sinéad Larkin

Sinéad primarily works from a humanistic, person-centred approach, where all clients are respected and supported with compassion. She also integrates elements of CBT, existential psychotherapy, rational emotive behaviour therapy, and solution focused therapy. Sinéad believes it is vital that clients are provided with a space in which they can be truly heard and validated.

She is particularly interested in working with the following issues: abusive relationships, anger management, anxiety, bullying, gender and sexual identity, low self-esteem, menstrual health, narcissism, stress, trauma, and workplace issues. She has also completed specialist training in pregnancy and infant loss, and infertility, with the Foundation for Infant Loss.

Sinéad recently qualified with a First Class Honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College/Middlesex University. She also holds a BA, MA, and MPhil in English Literature from Queen’s University Belfast.

Niamh McCartan

Niamh completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling with PCI College. Her education covered a comprehensive range of psychotherapeutic approaches including, Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. She is currently a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). As a part of this membership, Niamh adheres to the IACP code of ethics and continual professional development.

Niamh is passionate about working with people. Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, she worked as a volunteer support worker with various social and community organisations including the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and a local housing support clinic.
